Families are getting squeezed at the grocery store, at the pharmacy, on their power bill, and on their homeowners insurance. Lindsay will fight to lower the costs the state actually controls — holding insurance and utility corporations accountable, stopping Tallahassee from handing billions in taxpayer dollars to bail out insurance companies that jack up premiums and then deny claims when families need them most, and standing up to the monopolies passing their costs onto working families.

Over the last eight years, Tallahassee politicians diverted millions of dollars from Medicaid meant to help sick kids and pregnant moms to political campaigns, used taxpayer dollars to bail out greedy insurance companies, and raided trust funds designed to lower housing costs to give handouts to their special interest donors. Lindsay will vote against the back room deals that make billionaires richer while working families pay more.

Your health comes before corporate profits. But costs are skyrocketing, policies are vague and confusing, and insurance companies are refusing to provide clear pricing and denying you the care you paid for. Lindsay will fight for a transparent, patient-centered system that ensures every hardworking Floridian and senior gets the high-quality, affordable care that they need, when they need it, and that holds insurance corporations accountable when they try to deny claims and rip off patients.

Florida ranks 50th in the nation for teacher pay. That's why class sizes are exploding, kids aren't getting the attention they deserve, and teachers and educational professionals are leaving the field. Lindsay will vote to fund our schools, raise teacher salaries, and ensure students are getting the practical skills they’ll need to succeed outside the classroom.

Pinellas County is one of the most densely populated regions in Florida. It needs real funding from Tallahassee and real input from local leaders to build transportation systems that work for the people who live here.

Tallahassee is full of lobbyists who represent multinational corporations and the ultrawealthy. Lindsay will be a fierce advocate for the local businesses in our community, like she is to her clients — bringing their voices, challenges, and stories to the House floor and putting entrepreneurs and workers first.

Gun violence has touched every community in Florida. Lindsay supports universal background checks, safe-storage requirements, and keeping guns out of the hands of people who shouldn't have them, to keep our schools, our families, and our neighborhoods safe.

For eight years, Florida's top leaders have used culture wars to divide our state and strip civil rights from Black, Brown, and LGBTQ+ Floridians. Lindsay will use every skill she has to stand up to these attacks and ensure our constitution protects everyone equally.

Florida freedom means hardworking Floridians should be able to provide for our families and pay our bills without having to worry. State government should support Floridians by making sure good workers can get good-paying jobs. But instead, politicians in Tallahassee have sided with giant corporations and billionaires to pass anti-worker laws that attack our worker unions and keep our wages low. That is wrong. Lindsay will stand up against the billionaires and anti-worker corporate interests trying to strip Floridians of that right.

Reproductive healthcare decisions belong to women and their doctors, not politicians in Tallahassee. Lindsay has spent years fighting for reproductive rights in Florida, from her volunteering on the campaign to pass Amendment 4 in 2024 to her leadership with the League of Women Voters. She knows what's at stake because she's been in the room. In the Florida House, she'll stand up against every attempt to strip Floridians of their freedoms when it comes to family planning decisions like IVF, contraception, and abortion care.
